An Angel with the Book of Life
Wrote down our baby's birth
And whispered as she closed the Book
"Too Beautiful for Earth"

Our Precious Child

Precious little child of mine
You were my sweetest dream
When you took your journey home
I wonder what was seen
I knew the angels whispered
From the look upon your face
I knew that your were going
To a restful, peaceful place
And while my arms are empty
My heart is filled with dreams
Of you at peace in Heaven
That place eyes have not seen
So rest my child in Gods safe arms
Let angels kiss your face
Till then, I hold you in my heart
Till I meet you in that place

Dance With the Angels, Baby

A poem for Addison Nicole “Pie” McDorman (1/18/05 – 8/2/05)

Dance with the Angels, Baby,
Go dance, laugh and play.
Dance with the Angels, Baby,
Take our tears away.

Dance with the Angels, Precious,
Help our hearts to know
You dance with Angels always,
While we wait below.

Dance with the Angels, Darling,
Dance and sing with joy;
You’ve reached our heavenly home:
Dance with girls and boys!

Dance, you Angels, dance with her,
‘Round in circles wide,
Dance with her straight to Jesus,
Dance her to His side.

Dance, Sweetheart, ever dance,
Never to know pain,
Dance with the Angels, Princess,
In their joy remain.

Dance, dance to never cry,
Though we still may weep—
Dance in hope, for God’s nearby,
And your soul will keep.

Dance, darling baby girl
Dance in hope and peace,
For you’re our perfect Angel—
Love will never cease!

Dance, Pie, while we find rest,
Grace to say goodbyes,
And we’ll trust that God know best,
And love never dies.
Dance until we meet again!
Far beyond the night,
When eternal life begins,
We’ll dance in love’s light!

Dance with the Angels, baby,
Dance, sing and play,
Dance with Angels, Addison,
Till we’re home to stay.

Amen.
